I truly understand the importance of 'following the tried and true fundamentals'. So often when presented with a method of doing something, we feel like we can do it better or the method has to be customized to fit our circumstance. I have had to learn the hard way that the best way to test the process is to follow it 'exactly as presented' before deciding it doesn't fit or that my situation is so different. Dr. Misner I have to agree that everyone wants referrals; referral marketing is probably the easiest way to build clientele, but there is work involved. Maybe people that say "that won't work here" before they have tried it simply don't want to do the work.
Thank you Dr. Misner for making the work clear and easy to follow.

"The man who complains about the way the ball bounces is likely the one who dropped it." - Football Coach, Lou Holtz

Anyone who says 'it wouldn't work here or we're different' IS DIFFERENT and there is a very high probability it wouldn't work for them.
