I just used Taskus.com to enter all of my Facebook contacts into my
Address Book. Their promotional offer of $5 per hour is just ridiculous.

Social networking is the "in thing" in business. These are great ideas! I am using Facebook for creating some contacts for my business. This is so true. As you build those networks, you can easily have a pool of people to market to. And current customers can be the best form of advertising. (word of mouth)

Here is a blog that helps to focus your "game on" as you network. Here's the link:

Great info. Thanks for sharing,

This tips are really great. There is lots of ways to network with people. I was really surprise to find lots of business man in my own martial arts classes. There is one guy who is in the ice business and we became good business partner.

This is really good material. "Being on" hit home with me.I was recently in line at a department store. The guy in front of me turned around and said hi to me (I was wearing my name badge- great networking tip:wear your name badge everywhere and see what happens) and inquired about BNI. I gave him a 60 second overview of BNI (gee- wonder where I learned that). He said he had heard great things about BNI. I asked if he had a business and he said yes- "I'm a landscaper!" We exchanged business cards and I promised to follow up with him later. So I left the department store with $95 worth of stuff I don't need AND a business card of a happening business person to invite to BNI! So you need to be "on" all the time. Networking opportunities can occur when you least expect them to. The other tips listed are awesome also- thank you Ivan! Shawn McCarthy BNI ED Ventura County Ca.
