Let me first emphasize that the "original" The Key to the Secret was written by James De Havilland. De Havillands' message is clear and simple; "You cannot forgo the valley of knowledge and expect to reach the summit of wisdom". The original book by De Havilland has motivated me to become a shining example and an illustrious and eminent ambassador and heralder of mankind. My life has continually progressed in a positive direction since reading and practicing his writings. His book is clearly an educational masterpiece and seems to be lost in a maze of bad books. I just wanted to set the record straight when you ask a question about The Key to the Secret. There is a massive amount of fanfare focusing on The Key to the Secret. By now we have almost 200 students, making enough revenue for a 8 month business...the secret?! Yes there is one! Believe and achieve! In my experiences discussing The Secret with others, I've discovered that the thing that drives them away, or at least causes a significant amount of skepticism is the conversation surrounding the "mechanics" of the theory's inner workings. Evidently, people are afraid of things that they do not understand. Unfortunately, that conversation tends to get very "new agey", and is a very difficult concept to communicate in simple, layperson terms. I applaud the book if, in fact, it communicates the effectiveness of The Secret in a more accessible and practical fashion. Entrepreneurs and business people tend toward the practical, "give me the facts" side of things.
