In my experiences discussing The Secret with others, I've discovered that the thing that drives them away, or at least causes a significant amount of skepticism is the conversation surrounding the "mechanics" of the theory's inner workings. Evidently, people are afraid of things that they do not understand. Unfortunately, that conversation tends to get very "new agey", and is a very difficult concept to communicate in simple, layperson terms. I applaud the book if, in fact, it communicates the effectiveness of The Secret in a more accessible and practical fashion. Entrepreneurs and business people tend toward the practical, "give me the facts" side of things. By now we have almost 200 students, making enough revenue for a 8 month business...the secret?! Yes there is one! Believe and achieve!
